Each Friday, the folks at Preachy will offer you something of a reflection for your weekend. This Friday, we present Plant of the Month in which we invite you to sample Planet Earth’s finest. This month it’s meadowsweet.
Meadowsweet belongs to the rose family. It’s an anti-inflammatory—the formula for aspirin was synthesized using meadowsweet. It’s also used in flavoring for beer and mead. Importantly, it can be dried and smoked. It is alternately called “bridewort.”
