illustrated drop cap for the letter EEach Friday, the folks at Preachy will offer you something of a reflection for your weekend. This Friday, we present Plant of the Month in which we invite you to sample Planet Earth’s finest. This month it’s Witch Hazel.

In January, the tiny, spindly yellow petals of witch hazel begin blooming from the similarly spindly base shrub. Witch hazel relieves inflammation, including sunburn and various itches. It’s the perfect plant to combat the leftover stress of 2020 and prepare for whatever hell 2021 has to offer!
